Albuquerque is hard to spell

Moe the hippo isn't the only one... One of my best friends recently left Utah to become a Lobo at UNM. The frustrating thing (I'm sure more for him than me) is seeing my wife's coworker get accepted to the U of U pharmacy program. She doesn't know the first thing about pharmacy and applied on a whim. Her attitude toward it still is "maybe I'll give it a try."

My friend had better grades, more ambition, and definitely more pharmacy experience (he's been a tech for years). He just lacked one thing: A vagina.

We as a society push so hard for equal rights that sometimes, trying too hard to be fair, we become unfair. O'well. Life isn't fair. I know.

Anyway, here's a happy link from Nate that he wanted me to post.

I miss you man. Say hi to Moe for me.

Thanks for the sentiment. Truly, besides the fact that I'm away from family and friends, I think I'm going to enjoy school here. Students at the U are highly anti-social, and a little arrogant I've found(at least the pharmacy breed). People in ABQ are friendly, I've been adopted into some rings of nice people even though I don't drink or drive a truck. I am working on the beard though.

We miss you guys. See you at Christmas time.

Hey, there's the Albequerque bowl this year. Maybe the Utes will make it and everyone will have an excuse (if that's what you'd call it) to go down there. Seems more like a punishment than a reward for a mediocre season. Right?
