Cheeky Checketts

To get this out of my system, here's a Top 10 list that will never make it on Letterman. When reading, please keep in mind that I don't check facts (this is a blog, not a newspaper)!

Top 10 Reasons to Dislike Dave Checketts
10. He's rich but doesn't pay his bills on time (if at all)
9. When asked about stealing tax dollars from school children, he shrugged it off and basically said they'll be better off in the long run
8. He instigated the current sad state of the New York Knicks (Isaiah Thomas hasn't helped either... another post for another day)
7. He found $60 million dollars to purchase the New York Blues but made the public pay for a $50 million stadium in Salt Lake
6. He dragged Larry H. Miller's name through the mud without any evidence whatsoever of Larry's "evil plot" to get him
5. He's a bully.
4. He's so good looking. Dang that man is hot!
3. He's a sore loser - when the Colorado Rapids celebrated (perhaps overcelebrated) winning a recent game, he picked a fight with Colorado captain Pablo Mastroeni.
2. He's unapologetic (haughty) - Instead of apologizing for his own misled antics with Mastroeni, he released a statement saying he's "outraged and embarrassed" for the MLS as a whole.
1. He's the brains behind the "CSTV" disaster. He owned Sportswest and thought it would be a great idea to make everyone pay to see college football. He nurtured the horrible idea just long enough to cash out, laughing all the way to the bank.
