Ba Humbug

I like Christmas as much as anyone. But please, just don't double-dog-dare me to prove it.

If you want to see Christmas lights, there are plenty of places you can go. Christmas street, Thanksgiving Point, Temple Square, even any of my neighbors houses... just don't come to my house.

I don't understand the logic behind spending hard-earned money on lights, climbing up shaky ladders onto icy roofs, risking your life Clark Griswold-style just so your neighbors can see that you like Christmas? Of course I like Christmas! Who doesn't!?

And if the only reason you put up lights is to fit in, stop being such a conformist. Unite with me as we stand up to the man! It's pretty easy to stand up to the man... just sit down and do nothing.
