Love in an elevator

Riding the elevator at the ZCMI Center today, Chad let out his wiggles by jumping up and down. By the time I started yelling at him it was too late, we were stuck.

After 10 games of spider solitair on my cell phone, a long heart-to-heart, passed gas, leaving Jana a goodbye message and making our video wills with the digital camera I had in my pocket, we were finally set free.

I don't know what takes an hour to push an elevators reset button, but I'm glad we didn't die. And I'm glad for the 60 minutes Chad and I had to reflect on life.

I leave this experience with a new resolution to a) Lose weight - look how chubby I look! b) Treat others with more love and kindness, and c) Yell at Chad sooner when he's misbehaving.
