Product Reviews: New Phone Services

I've had my iPhone for nearly a month now, so it sort of surprises me that I haven't blogged about it yet considering how much I brag it up everywhere else. If you see me every day, you know that iPhone and I have become good friends. In fact, we're inseparable. iPhone even sleeps in our bed and has his own pillow. iPhone is more than a friend, he's family. Actually, he's more than family, he's a lover. Yes, I am coming out of the closet in declaration of my love for iPhone.

iPhone does it all. Today we were driving around looking for "Made of Honor" for Jana to watch while I worked the U game. We went to a Redbox and they didn't have it, so I jumped on the Redbox website and reserved a copy at the Bountiful Albertsons. Less than 5 minutes later, we had it in our hands. Can your phone do that? I update my Netflix queue, take pictures, check facebook, check email, play Boggle, Sudoku, and about 50 other great games, pretend to be a Jedi, check the weather, read my scriptures, and best of all - it has an iPod on there too.

Anyways, I could go on and on. I heart iPhone, got it?

I'm sure I've now bored you to death. For that I am sorry. If you need CPR, don't leave a comment. Instead, log off immediately and call 911. .. (hopefully on an iPhone if you have one - even calling 911 on an iPhone is fun!).

In other phone news - we recently switched to Vongage. If you're a sucker and still use Qwest for home phone like we did, stop it already! We'll save $15/month with Vonage, plus we don't pay any extra for features that Qwest was gouging us for (I think we were paying $9/month for caller ID). So far, the only complaint I have is they transferred our number a full day before UPS brought our equipment, so we had to go without a home phone for a little while. But that seems a small price to pay to rid ourselves of the evil monopoloid empire of Qwest.

So far it works great. Jana and I both like that we can check voicemail from anywhere. It even sends us an email with the voicemail attached, which is nice, because I can check it on my iPhone. Anyway, if I've now inspired anyone out there to switch to Vonage, make sure you let me know so I can get 2 months free.

Well, this could go down as the dumbest post ever. I'm sorry I wasted your time. You must have too much of it if you've made it this far, so here is some video of paint drying...

I totally understand your love of the Iphone. Aaron constantly has his and I love it for my mindless web browsing while in the car and the numerous games (that I'd never play in church).

Also, amen to the monopoloid empire of Qwest. We dumped them about a year ago and haven't looked back once.

I watched the entire video and I can't believe the part where the paint dries. The end was a little cheesy though.
