Long before the success of The Office came Christopher Guest, one of the founders of the modern genre of "mockumentaries." Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind are without a doubt 3 of the most underrated and funniest films of the past 10 years.Unfortunately, in April 2005 Mr. Guest announced he would no longer make "mockumentaries," as he no longer found them funny. Gee, do you think he came to that decision after seeing the horrible Utah film Sons of Provo?
Well, lucky for us, he seems to have changed his mind. His new movie For Your Consideration (click for trailer) brings back all the familiar faces and looks as fresh as Spinal Tap was in its day. And it even stars Ricky Gervais! Hey, if that's not respecting your elders, I don't know what is!
