Turn the music off!

This is a plea to all the "Mormon Mom Blogs" out there to please turn your blog music off! Yes you have great taste in music, and yes, I love hearing John Mayer, Leona Lewis or Colbie Caillet every time I check up on your family. But enough is enough. Sometimes it's late at night or I'm at my day job, and you see, I'm forgetful, and I'm starting to go deaf in my old age, and sometimes, just sometimes I leave my speakers turned up really loud only to be blasted by "Teardrops on my Guitar."

There has got to be a setting somewhere where people turn it on rather than off. Please find it and use it. Then we can press forward in faith and read each others drivel in peace.

I am with Isaac, again on this one. I found a solution, though. I just turn the volume OFF because I can't stand the music but want to read the blog--and I would make a poor hunter! I only got 1500 points. That was with only 1 duck. Won't be playing that game again.

I agree. I had this discussion with a coworker the other day about his blog. He said all the girls at work and his wife said, "It's not a blog unless it automatically plays the music. That's part of what makes it a blog!" I guess these people need to have an introductory blogging 101 course.

I HATE music on blogs!!!..HATE!!!HATE!!!...HATE!!! Thanks Ike, hopefully everyone will change their blog now. It is the worst when they also have video posted on their blog and you can't even hear the video they have posted because of all the noise from the music.

I like to listen to my own music while I surf the internet. The worst is when my music is rudely interupted by some mindless chick music crap, ending in a mish-mash of awful sound and completely ruining my song.
